Beautiful You
All Natural Remedies & Cure for your Skin and Hair
We always don't need to buy expensive products to keep ourselves  young and beautiful. Sometimes the best natural products can be found right in your own Kitchen Cabinet and fridge.

UNDERNOURISHED SKIN:
One of Cleopatra's beauty tip was to soak in a beer bath. Beer is very good for the skin because of the vitamins and yeast it contains. In Central Europe there are now many spas offering just this treatment.

ACNE REMEDIES:
Garlic is known for its anti bacterial properties and makes an excellent acne treatment. Press some garlic into a paste and leave it on your acne and pimples for 15 minutes then rinse off. Another solution is mashed-up honey and apple, applied individually to pimples. Also, try dabbing some tea tree oil on the pimple to dry it out and kill any bacteria.
There are some excellent natural face mask treatments for acne. Try applying a layer of ripe tomato pulp, cooked oatmeal or egg yolk to your face and letting it dry.
Finally, fruits are natural acid exfoliants and can help to get rid of your acne scars. Applying a puree of pineapple for 15 minutes will both freshen you up and reduce the impact of acne marks. Another great solution is lemon juice, but be careful as it can make your skin more sensitive to  sunlight.

DRY SKIN REMEDIES:
  • Make a mash of banana and leave on your face for 20 minutes.
  •  Almond oil makes a great primer before foundation because it's quickly absorbed. You can use it as a night moisturizer.
  • Mayonnaise is not only a great hydration treatment for your hair, it works wonders as a face mask too.

FACEMASK TIPS:
A good facemask will firm and tone your skin, minimizing pores and exfoliating off dead skin so the fresh skin beneath is revealed. Here's a natural and effective facemask recipe:
1 mashed avocado
1 cooked and mashed carrot
1/2 cup cream
1 beaten egg
3 tablespoons of honey
DULL HAIR
Four solutions to make your hair shiny.
1. Heat half a cup of olive oil, leave it on your hair for 15 minutes, then rinse.
2. Mix baking soda in with your shampoo.
3. Shampoo, then rinse your hair with beer. It really works!
4. Brew some coffee and let it cool, then apply to dry hair and leave for 20 mins. Rinse with warm water.
OILY HAIR
Two ideas for making your hair less oily.
1. Boil and mash up some carrots, leave on your hair for 15 minutes.
2. An old favorite - dishwasher detergent.

DRY HAIR
Massaging your hair with mayonnaise, olive oil or almond oil will add moisture back. Leave it on for 10 minutes then wash it as usual.

Lets Go Retro
If you want 'catty' peepers with the dramatic winged eyeliner look here’s how to get it right...

  • Make sure your peepers are wiped clean of any remaining eye make-up for the best canvas. Apply an eye primer all over your eyelids with your fingers. Gently pat it in to get it nice and smooth so that your shadow goes on perfectly and stays.
  • Because the cat-eyed liner look is very dramatic, the focus in on the eyeliner so keep the eye shadow simple.
  •  For a glam contemporary take on the look go for smoky shimmery eye shadow to complement the winged eyeliner.
  •  For your palette, choose a range of bronze shades for the best effect. Bronze colours suit green, blue and brown eyed girls, so go wild.
  •  With your blending brush, apply a light iridescent brown on upper and lower lids as well as the inner corners of your eyes.
  •  The next step in creating this retro look is to blend a darker hue of bronze to the outer corners to create a sultry look for your lids. To finish off your eyelids, dust a light gold shimmery shadow for extra shimmer.
  •  To achieve the dramatic cat-eyed look use liquid liner in jet black to make your eyes really pop! Use a steady hand to line your upper lids. Work from the inner eye outwards and finish it off with a stroke upwards to create the cat look.
  • Line your bottom lids lightly with liquid eyeliner and make sure not to smudge it.
  • Finish off your peepers with a few coats of jet black mascara and you are ready to retro rock!
  • With this dramatic look, keep the rest of your make-up simple and finish off with nude, glossy lips.
Tip:  For optimum lash fabulousness curl your eyelashes before applying your make-up!

WEDGES: The High Heel Madness

Wedges are a type of platform shoe. The first modern wedge heel appeared during the 1930's. The first wedges didn't have a distinct heel and had cellophane straps. The wedge heel is thick and one piece with the sole, and the height ranges from a slight raise in the heel to several inches. Its popularity fluctuates and hundreds of new wedge designs come out each year, depending on trends.
Fashion Peep toe wedges  However, the credit for creating the Wedge heel shoe goes to Italian designer Salvatore Ferragamo. He designed the orthopedic wedge in 1935 and the wedge heel in 1936. Ferragamo used cork and wood because of a leather and rubber shortage. Cork was more popular than wood because it was lighter. The cork sole was also sturdy and durable. . Over the next decade he then used this heel on many shoes styles, from sandals to pumps and ankle boots. He was known  as the "shoe maker to the stars" after he moved to Hollywood the United States at the age of 16, specializing in custom-made designs with pure opulence. The master of improvision, he used any object or mateial to help achieve the vision for the shoe he was designing. From Spanish shawls to Chinese brocade, or fabric off a brocade chair. He was known to use hummingbird feathers, tree bark and other materials sourced from nature.

Wedges grew in popularity during World War II because of the lack of leather and rubber available in the United States. Leather and rubber were needed for the war effort. The fashion of the time called for height. Wedges offer height and are easier to walk in than skinny heels. Shoulder pads added to the illusion of height. Wedges reached up to 5 inches during this time period.

                    1970s
Wedges resurfaced in the 1970s. Designs were louder, more colourful and outrageous. One design even allowed for a goldfish to even live in the heel. Men and women wore platform wedges, unlike during World War II when it was strictly a women's fashion.
1990s
Wedges came back in style in the 1990s. Wedge sneakers first appeared in raves, then moved on toward the rest of the world. Both regular platform sneakers and wedge platform sneakers existed. These high wedge sneakers could be seen on celebrities like the British pop band the Spice Girls.
                             2006
The wedge returned in the summer 2006. Heels made of cork and wrapped in rope were one style option. Both straps and ankle wraps were choices to secure wedges to feet. Flip-flop wedges, with a small heel, combined the two popular styles.

Health Benefits
Women wear heels to make the legs look longer, to make the body look thinner and to improve posture. Wedge heels offer more support than stilettos or high heels. Balance is easier on a wedge, reducing the number of falls that accompany high heels. Wedges offer more arch support, reducing foot and ankle problems. Its artwork ability is endless.

We have a whole range of wedge heel shoes available with us. For more details please log on to http://www.facebook.com/FASHIONGARAGEINDIA

Embrace your Body
(It Comes in different Shapes & Sizes)

You don't have to look dumb just because your plus sized. Some people just insult you or mock you because your plus sized. It's a horrible fact of life. Just like people will insult you if you were thin. Just smile and walk away. Maintain a positive attitude.

Attitude is the materialization of all thoughts. It could be Positive or Negative. A positive attitude includes self-confidence, courage, optimism and humor while negative attitude could include distrust, fear of failure, anxiety or sadness. Attitude contributes significantly to the overall image of  any individual. So maintain a positive outlook. Let others insult you if they wish, but refrain from insulting yourself. You are way too cool, nice, beautiful, friendly, smart and interesting to stoop to any criticism.

Here are some simple steps to a healthy & Positive  Plus sized Living:

  • Stay healthy. Eat whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and all of that good stuff, staying away from sweets and salty foods. Exercise at least every other day, even if it's just small things like walking around town. Just because you're plus-sized, doesn't mean you have to be unhealthy!
  • Don't get clothes that are too loose or too tight. These can make you look even bigger, and more sloppy. Wear cute clothes in your own style that skim those beautiful curves rather than squeeze or hide them.
  • Remember that dressing is all about illusions. Dark colors are slimming, as are bootleg pants, vertical pinstripes (NOT in opposing colours, e.g. white with black stripes), high heels add height and adjust posture to make you look slimmer, but only wear them if you feel comfortable enough.
  • Keep your skin healthy looking, Bad skin just looks bad on people with any figure!
  • Don't be shy! If you want to get on the dance floor, then go for it. If you want to have something besides that salad when you're at a restaurant, go for it. Who cares what other people think!
  • Think nice thoughts like: I'm beautiful, no matter what. Don't even think about other people's opinions. Don't focus on not caring. and don't focus on pleasing them.
  • Practice good posture. Good posture makes you look taller. Hold your chin up, shoulders slightly back, back straight (not rigid), even out your pelvic bowl (don't stick your bum out), place your feet slightly apart. Basically, imagine that there is an invisible thread pulling you up straight.
  • Smile! Even smaller people look bad if they always look grumpy, sad, angry, etc. Show the world that you are confident and happy. Smiling is contagious too and will make people feel better about themselves.
  • Enjoy the advantages of being plus-sized. Turn your extra pounds into advantages.
    • Bigger women often have bigger breasts. Enhance your bust by wearing V-necks and long necklaces that draw attention towards your breasts; don't show too much of your bust, however.
    • Plus-sized women are more curvy than slim women. Learn how to dress to flatter your curves; not all plus-sized women have an identical body type.

    Tips

  • Shoes such as "Pumps" are classically trendy AND slimming.
  • Clothing items in classic black are lifesavers on those days when you just don't feel your best, but you still have to look the part.
  • Be sure to eat healthy, balanced meals to help keep you looking and feeling your best!

Crackle Nail Polish A.K.A. Cracked Nail Polish

If you haven’t already heard of the crackle/shatter nail polish trend, then you’re missing out the newest form of Nail art. This trend in nail art has reemerged in a big way  People are gearing up everywhere to flash their artfully shattered nails to curious onlookers Crackle (or Shatter…it depends on the brand) polishes are a coat of nail paint you apply over a vivid base colour.
This ground breaking nail polish creates only one of its kind cracked look instantaneously! Try to match up with a contrast color to build an exclusive cracked finish for an touchy and filth remarkable look.
This crackle nail polish is similar to typical gel nail polish, but it has an ethanol alcohol and solvent in it that create it so unique and cracked. It also makes the polish dry a lot quicker. A standard gel polish is usually dry slow across the nail in a smooth, steady treatment.

How to Apply Cracked Nail Polish

First you must apply one layer of no matter what color (go with your favorite colour) you desire to go under the crackle. Wait a few minutes and make sure it dries completely. After that, apply only one of the cracked nail polish and that's it! If you want for instance purple cracks, you would paint your nails blue, wait it to dry and then put blue crackle over it. It is simple as that.

  • Paint Crackle Coat
After the base coat gets completely dry, simply paint the crackle coat, then the amazing crackles will start to appear on the nail.
  • Paint Top Coat
It also can be any of regular top coat according to your personal preference after the crackle coat gets dry. This will help to last the crackle effect and protect your nail.

Make the crackle look smaller or bigger?
Paint light when you want smaller crackle and paint heavy when you need a bigger crackle. Paint another layer before the crackle coat get completely dry (semi dry) in case you will want a very crazy crackle look.
