Sugary Lip Scrub Recipe ( ~~via Modern Rosies' Blog)
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1 tsp. agave nectar**
- 3 tsp. pure cane sugar*
(If you don't have agave nectar, honey or maple syrup may be used instead.)
Instructions:
- Mix it all together and rub gently on your lips in a circular motion for about a minute. You can use a soft-thistle toothbrush for this process, but I find it easier to use my finger tip.
- Wash off with warm water and apply thin layer of balm
Information:
- place remaining product in an air tight container
- store it in the fridge
- this will last you up to 6 months (although something tells me it will be long gone before then!)
NEON: Back to Fashion
Some feel Neon colours are a little tacky.. but this season
Neon is back in a dignified way.. it’s about wearing fun colours with well
fitting, normal clothing.
Colour-blocking dates back to 2011 Fashion trend but this is one trend which is still going strong..Celebrities have been spotted sporting the Colour-blocking Trend.
Neon colors are one of the trends for spring & summer, but if you don't want to go out and buy bags, shoes or clothes in a neon hue do neon nails.. PERFECT FOR A FRIDAY NIGHT!!
You can carry them all by blocking one with the other...few things are to be kept in mind while playing with this trend..
1.Analogous Colours: Going with the Similar shades, taking up two adjacent colour say Red and Orange-red, or maybe three adjacent colours like red, violet-red and violet...This way you block the similar hue of colours
2. Complementary colors: Choose colours that are opposite to each other, colours directly across from each other (e.g. blue & orange)
3. Right Angle Colours: Select colours that form 90º angle like Green-Blue-Violet, Orange-yellow Yellow-green and Blue-green.
4. T. Colours: Colours that form a “T” shape like yellow, purple and orange-red.
If you have colour-blocked dresses, wear them with nude shoes & nude lipstick
Use Solid Colours that compliment your skin-tone and....
GO COLOURBLOCKING..!!!
